Fans and fighters to learn from one of MMA’s all-time greats in Phuket this May.
Jon “Bones” Jones is coming back to Thailand. The reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion will return to Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA for a one-day exclusive MMA seminar on Saturday, May 31, giving fans and athletes the rare opportunity to train with the GOAT himself.
The seminar will run from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM and is open to all levels. This isn’t just a demonstration—it’s a technical deep dive into the tools that have defined Jones’ career: his unorthodox striking, inside trips, chain wrestling, and fight IQ. Expect a breakdown of techniques like the spinning back kick—the same one he used to drop Stipe Miocic in his last UFC performance—along with the setups and timing that make them so effective.
Jones, who returned to the Octagon at UFC 285 to capture the heavyweight title by first-round submission, is widely considered the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. With 10 successful title defenses at light heavyweight and a career built on creativity, composure, and evolution, there’s no one else like him in the sport.
His previous visit to Bangtao in early 2024 wasn’t your average guest appearance. Rather than a formal Q&A, Jones spent over three hours in the Phuket heat meeting fans—posing for photos, recording personalized messages, and even grappling with attendees. The atmosphere was genuine, raw, and unforgettable.

The gym has hosted everyone from Georges St-Pierre and Zhang Weili to Jiri Prochazka and co-owner Alex Volkanovski.
