PHUKET, THAILAND – August 2026 – Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA will host a Muay Thai seminar with Karuhat Sor.Supawan, one of the most celebrated fighters of the sport’s Golden Age, on Saturday 29 August 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Karuhat, known in Thailand as the “Top Master,” is a four-time Lumpinee Stadium champion, winning titles at flyweight (112 lbs) and super bantamweight (122 lbs) during the 1990s. Over a career of nearly 200 fights, he recorded 165 victories against the best fighters of his era, including Kaensak Sor.Ploenjit, Hippy Singmanee, and Veeraphol Sahaprom. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest technicians in the history of Muay Thai — a femur stylist famous for switching seamlessly between orthodox and southpaw, and for beating bigger opponents through timing, balance, and ring craft rather than brute force.
Now a respected trainer who teaches internationally, Karuhat will spend a full week at Bangtao, joining as a guest coach from 23–30 August and offering private sessions alongside the seminar.
