Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA Welcomes New Coaches and Sponsored Athletes to the Team!

Owen Livesey joins Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA

While this week is a quiet one with regards to fights, Bangtao has exciting news with regard to adding new members to both the sponsored athletes and the official coaching staff!

With the team extending a warm welcome this week to the Livesey family, with Owen officially signing on and breaking the news that he will be joining as one of Bangtaoโ€™s BJJ coaching staff. Both a BJJ and Judo Black Belt, Coach Livesey has competed in ADCC, Polaris, Quintet, is a CACC World Champion and just recently beat Mahamed Aly in an amazing performance at CJI. He will be joined by his wife Julia Scardone, who is herself, a seasoned Judo Black Belt and their young son.

The team keeps growing as well with three new athletes in Chloe Henry, Jake Lund and Madeline Noonan all joining the sponsored ranks! Each of them with their own respective goals; Chloe looks to grow as an MMA athlete and continue her 3-0 amateur win streak under the team, while Jake continues to focus on growing his extensive Muay Thai career, already the holder of 4 world championships one of which, the prestigious WBC Diamond belt. And Madeline makes history for the team as the first Bangtao Boxer after her last knockout win!
