Two Bangtao Muay Thai fighters are set to step into the ring this Tuesday, September 19, at Patong Stadium.
First up is James Fraser, the Scottish standout who will be competing in his ninth bout since joining Team Bangtao. Fraser is making the cut down to 68kg for the first time to face Till Spring. “This will be my fifth fight at Patong Stadium. The familiarity is helpful, especially with this being the lightest weight I’ve fought out here,” Fraser noted. “My opponent and I both share a loss to the same fighter, so I’m expecting a competitive matchup.”
Joining Fraser on the card is Irish dynamo Karl Tannian, who is riding an impressive seven-fight win streak—six of which have come under the Bangtao banner. This time, he’s squaring off against Myanmar’s Hla Win Sen. “This will be my sixth fight in six months for Bangtao, and I’ve won every one. I’m not slowing down anytime soon,” Tannian stated confidently. “My opponent is strong, tough, and experienced. I’m ready to step up and show that I’m prepared to raise the bar every time and give it my all.”
